The Painter will be responsible for wiping down equipment after Technicians assemble pumps, parts, or skids; utilizing an air-operated paint gun; mixing paint; taping off equipment; and finally painting all pumps and skids prior to final QC and palletization.
When there is not equipment to paint, painter will assist Inventory Manager in checking in and putting away new inventory.

Since 2003, the Company has been providing products and services to these industries and is family owned and operated.
We assemble new pumps and pump packages and do repair work at our San Leon location.

The Pump Mechanic Apprentice performs a variety of skilled duties involved in packaging, painting and prepping orders for shipment.
Daily tasks include operating forklift, pulling parts, cleaning parts for inspection, sandblasting, painting with an industrial paint gun in our paint booth, and following, good, orderly direction.

TRAVEL:
= 2% POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Required Applicants must be capable of working efficiently at least 8 hours per day 5 days per week.
Overtime is sometimes required to meet deadlines.
Have a good attitude and be a team player.
Possess good verbal communication skills.
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to details.
Must pass a drug screen.
Must have reliable form of transportation to and from work.
High School Diploma or GED.
This job can be physically demanding and requires the ability to stand for most of a workday.
Strength requirements are the ability to handle weights of up to 50 lbs.

2 years of prior mechanical/industrial painting work preferred.
Min of 1 year is absolutely required! Skilled at leadership, organization, people interaction, problem solving, and customer service.
